Description of Scenario: Energywatt, NY is looking for alternative ways of providing electricity to their city. You are on the advertising committee of one of the renewable energy source providers (Hydro, Solar, Wind, and Nuclear). Your boss has put you on a committee of designing a perfect advertising campaign to make the City Planning Board choose your company to be the sole provider of energy. You will have to compete against the members of other advertising committees to the City Planning Board and get them to choose you. In order to do this, you will need to make your campaign original and eye-catching. (See rubric in project section) For example, think of the commercials that you see on TV or hear on the radio that really grab your attention. What do they do to get it? However, before you can design your advertisement, you will need to become an expert on energy and your particular renewable energy source. (The City Planning Board will definitely have questions you ask you after seeing your advertisement). Complete the following activities below to begin becoming an expert in energy.
